Under 16's

Sheppey United Under 16's rounded off their season today with an excellent performance and result from their visit to League leaders Canterbury City.
Two first half goals from Onni Elliott and a first of the season for Billy Gilham-Whybrow saw Sheppey take a 2-0 lead, although the hosts managed to pull one back before the interval, Sheppey took a well deserved lead into the break.
The expected second half onslaught from Canterbury was halted before it had started, as Liam Baxendale and Lewis McCrory increased Sheppey's lead, Canterbury did pull one back, but Sheppey held on comfortably to record an impressive result, and ensure they would finish Fourth.

Looking For a new challenge next season 2008/09

Sheppey United's current Under 16 side will be stepping up to compete in the Under 18's next season.

Trained by a UEFA qualified coach with training in the Sittingbourne/Newington area, we are seeking players in all outfield positions who would like to compete in next seasons Kent Youth League.

Under 14's

Sheppey United Under 14's were 2-1 winners at Home today, in a re-arranged game against Ashford Borough.

Cup Final Appearance Assured

AFC Sheppey will be appearing in the Les Leckie Cup Final following a close encounter in the Semi Final yesterday, against Oakwood which saw Sheppey eventually win 3-2.
This will be the Second time in Three seasons that Sheppey have made it to the final, and they will hoping for a repeat performance of Two seasons ago when they lifted the cup.
